The snowmobile trails are officially open and ready for winter adventures in Sayner-Star Lake. Are you new to riding the Sayner Barnstormer’s groomed trails? No problem! You can pick up a map when you’re in town, and be sure to read up on the Wisconsin state trail pass before you venture out.

Our trail system is worth making tracks on this winter! We’re located right in the center of it all. Any direction that you head out of Sayner-Star Lake will connect you to a neighboring community for miles of excellent trail riding. There are plenty of routes to take, but here are three to get you started:

1. A quick ride

From downtown Sayner, head south on corridor #15. Then take trail #70 and head towards Mar-Li’s Bar, pit-stop #43 to grab a bite to eat. Rumor has it their broasted chicken is a real crowd pleaser!

2. A day trip

Head north out of Sayner towards Star Lake on trail #7. If you're hungry for an amazing thin crust pizza, hit up Vinchi's Hillside Inn, pit-stop #38.  Otherwise continue on the trail to Star Lake, and be sure to stop by Stillwaters Food & Spirits, pit-stop #35. If you're out and about on a Friday, definitely give their “all your care to eat” fish a try! From there, head east towards Land O’ Lakes for miles of great riding!

3. Trip down historic Trail 51

Gear up for a trip down historic trail #51. This snowmobile trail winds through the Northern Highland-American Legion State Forest and is one of the oldest trails in the state, a portion of which is maintained by the Barnstormers.
